What A Picture Can Teach You About Your English Level

A few months ago I went to visit to visit London quickly. This time  I went to visit the eastern part of the city,which I hadn’t been to for a long time. 

In recent years the city has changed again and is now a trendy and colourful cosmopolitan place with a mixture of natives and non natives speaking people. It’s really amazing how you can walk up a street and go through different cultures on the same road from a British style cafe to authentic spicy Asian restaurants.

While visiting the town I came across one of the many train stations there which was right next to a family park (and a few meters from the main high street). What attracted me to stop by this station was the colours. Lots and lots of them on the wall. I’m talking about art and graffiti of course. 

But this was a little different than what we typically see across the town.

This was an actually painting on the wall of two characters. And I recognized who the people on the wall were even from afar as I approached the wall. Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King. The artist, who had created this painting, gave the artwork even more beauty by adding inspirational quotes. You can see them written in the film clip here/

What inspirational words to remember in our lives! It got me thinking a little. 

Language quotes in English are everywhere. If you pay attention you can see them all around your city. Yes, even if you live in a non native English town.The ability to recognize them perhaps are an indication that you have improved your English level. Quotes have the ability to inspire and to remind us of who we can be if we’re motivated and believe in our selves. Look around you  and discover a new quote to inspire you today! And then when you do, tell it to someone. Inspirational words are meant to be shared with others together!
