How to be present for English

Do you know why we use the present tense in English?
The main idea of using this tense is for describing what’s happening in the present moment at any given time.
Native speakers like using present tenses, especially the continuous as the building blocks to expressing themselves in different context or situations.
To improve English faster, you need to have focus and clarity.
You need focus to be able to execute your goal efficiently and clarity to know why you are doing it.
When you begin your challenge use the present tense to help you stay focused.
For example, start using the simple phrase ‘I am.’
‘I am here right now‘
Stay in the present moment and don’t let yourself be distracted.
Breathe in, deeply and repeat:
‘I am here right now’
You are here in your situation right now and it’s ok.
You can improve very quickly if you are motivated and clear about your goals.
But you have to keep your mind clear of doubts or the insecurities of your past( even if they are screaming at you loudly inside your head!)
Stay in the moment. Do not think about the past or the future.
‘I’m not a native speaker but I’m motivated’.
Be clear about why you want to improve in English and start doing the work.
‘I’m here and I’m doing the work and that’s all that matters right now’
The more you do this, the more you will get clear and focused about the possibilities and potential success in your English.
When you get focused on your potential success, you are ready to begin learning.
There’s a saying in English ‘When the student is ready….then the right teacher appears for them at that moment.’
Stay focused. Stay in the present moment.
